Through the well-established Student Exchange Programme, the College of Business annually sends around 500 UG students overseas for a semester of study around the world.  In 2018/19 Semester A, around 160 students went on an overseas exchange in the partner universities.

In March 2019, the College’s Exchange Student Club (ESC) organised three sharing sessions to provide a platform for students to share overseas learning experience, meet with exchange buddies, and give tips on living aboard. Returned students, members of ESC, alumni Eric Ma and Eunice Ku, as well as inbound exchange student from Sweden Kelvin Wang shared in the sharing sessions.

Laura Flink, an inbound exchange student from the US said, “The sharing session was a really great experience for not only me, but most importantly for the new exchange students. While I shared information about my home university, I noticed the fellow students’ excitement and nervousness about their upcoming adventure.”

Sunanda Patricia Andrea, a returned student who went on exchange at York University in Canada, said “I met with some students who are going to my exchange university next semester, and shared some of my tips and experiences to them. It was nice to get to know new people and help them in a way that I can. In addition, it is always fun to listen to others' stories and reminisce about exchange.”

Exchange Sharing Session is one of the selected Student-Initiated Projects supported by the University to promote campus internationalisation and integration.
