China's One-Belt-One-Road initiative is currently one of the biggest stories in Asian business, and it is possible that the future of the global economy will depend heavily on OBOR. Since the initiative has great potential to be the world’s largest platform for regional collaboration, how can Hong Kong’s tertiary education sector make a contribution to international trade, cross regional infrastructure and east-west cultural integration? Through an interview in Metro Finance FM104, Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of College of Business and Acting Director of Research Centre on One-Belt-One-Road, introduced the collaboration between City University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, and the direction of research and education on OBOR as well as Public-Private Partnerships.
