Mission

Our KIM research area has been recognized by the University and accepted by the UGC as a selected area of international competitiveness at City University of Hong Kong for further focused development in the University's most recent Academic Development Plan.

The goal of this project is straightforward: to reinforce our internationally competitive selected area of applied research: Knowledge and Innovation Management.

It will achieve this goal through the execution of strategic initiatives designed to bring about significant impact in the theory and practice of KIM with particular emphasis in the Asian-Pacific context. Examples of these initiatives include (but not limited to) sharply focused applied research projects addressing KIM problems in business and organizations, attending and organizing high-impact conferences, strategic networking with KIM research leaders globally, regular dissemination of the latest state-of-the-art know-how to the community, etc.
