Principal Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Department Head and 33 academic staff to enable the delivery of high standard educational service to the students
GENERAL ADNMINISTRATION
• Responsible for the general office administration including staff recruitment, PPAD and supervision of supporting staff
• Liaison with central administrative departments in the University on academic and administrative matters (admission, examination, time-tabling etc.) financial and library matters, and the FMO etc.
• Responsible for establishing systems and procedures for the smooth running of daily operational functions assigned and improve such systems from time to time
• Responsible for the oversight of the departmental library reference material and equipment.
• Prepare the departmental budget plan and monitor the financial situation.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT
• Continuous moderation and updating of the BBA majors (HRM/IBJ) and minors (HRM, IB, IE, BS) programs. To ensure these programs run smoothly and coherently with the ARRO and ADMO systems
• Teaching allocation: planning and assign teaching allocation, liaise with all academic staff for their work load distribution in respect of teaching and administrative duties.
• Continuous moderating and updating of the BBA majors (BBAHRM / BBAIBJ) and minors (HRM, Global Business, Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship, Team Leadership & Management) programs.
• Monitor the system for student records to ensure high accuracy and to have the information ready for future follow up, especially for poorly performing students (CGPA below 2.0). All the consultation records shall be filed properly for the program leader and major advisors to follow up.
• Monitor and update the database for Companies that have participated in seminars or workshops. This will enhance the promotion for future seminars and workshops.
• Assistance to the program leader for the AACSB and EQUIS accreditation.
• Liaison with part-time lecturers on appointment, teaching and time-tabling matters.
• Consultation for students in respect of their study progress, ie: exchange study and add/prop arrangements
