| Details: |  Mr. Nelson Yip, CEO of EP Power Limited, EP Venture Limited and Appetizup Limited, delivered a talk entitled "Think Big ! Think Analytic!" on Nov 7, 2014 in Business Analysis Workshop Series organized by Business Analysis programme committee. In the talk, Mr. Yip shared his valuable experience in education, business, public services and sports and encouraged students to think big and think analytic. He pointed out that "How you see your life shapes your life" and advised students to have bigger rather than limited vision and goals. He mentioned the usefulness of analytical skills in his company's project "Above Challenge". Mr. Yip encouraged students to work hard to become successful and also introduced Hangzhou internship to our students. Mr. Yip was conferred a BSc in Statistics and Computer Science at CUHK, an MA in Quantitative Analysis in Business at CityU and an MBA degree at CUHK. He was the first qualified representative of Hong Kong in the Equestrian Competition of Beijing 2008 Paralympics. He was also an Olympic Torch Bearer of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Mr. Yip has been awarded the Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government for his contribution in promoting sports for disabled athletes and Honorary Fellow by The City University of Hong Kong for his accomplishments and impacts on Hong Kong society. He also serves in a number of government and community committees and boards. He recently receives "The Spirit of Hong Kong Awards" for 2014.
