He has led large-scale transformations for Chinese and multinational organisations and advises many of the top corporate leaders in the region. A go-to source for international media such as CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fortune, he has been named one of Forbes China’s 100 Most Influential Chinese for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025); was selected as one of Bloomberg Businessweek’s Influencers of the Year (2025-2026); and appointed a Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong Government. He is the author of numerous reports on China’s financial institutions and co-author of Life Insurance in Asia: Sustaining Growth in the Next Decade (Wiley, 2012) and The Next China Is Still China: An Insider's Playbook for Winning in the New Era (Scribner, 2026). He holds an AB, JD, and MBA from Harvard University.
