Big-4 Recruitment Program

Student Clubs Sponsored by Big-4 Firms

The Big-4 student clubs are organized by the Big 4 firms. Each firm invites applications from the Year-1 students of all University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded universities and one or two non-UGC-funded universities for admission to the student club it organizes. These clubs include the KPMG Elite Student Club, Ernest & Young Academy, and Deloitte Club. In addition, many of the activities of the LEAP Club, which stands for Learn, Experience, Affiliate, and Progress and is organized by past student members of LEAP, are supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong (PWCHK), although the firm does not officially run the club.

These clubs organize regular activities throughout the year to nurture their members and establish intimacy and friendliness among them in the hope that participants will join the respective firms as full-time staff members upon graduation. Those invited to become club members are considered the cream of the crop of accounting students, which is implicitly recognized by many firms, Big-4 and non-Big-4 alike.
