| Details: | The world of work is changing fast, and the skills students need for future opportunities are evolving just as quickly. This workshop helps students look ahead, understand global trends, and identify which skills will matter most by 2030, from digital fluency to human-centric capabilities. Through guided reflection and practical exercises, participants will map their own skill gaps and explore how these connect to emerging roles and industries. The session is designed to help students make informed decisions about their learning journey, so they can build confidence, stay competitive, and position themselves for long-term success. This workshop is part of the Highered Career Development Journey – Stage 2: Build Your Edge, where students focus on strengthening the technical and soft skills required to reach their career goals. By identifying what to learn next and where to invest their energy, students take a proactive step toward shaping their future.
