2027 Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management

Private Wealth Management Association (“PWMA”) is an industry association dedicated to fostering the growth and development of Hong Kong’s private wealth management industry.  

Hong Kong Monetary Authority (“HKMA”) and PWMA have jointly organized an apprenticeship programme for private wealth management (“PWM”) in Hong Kong.

Programme
The Apprenticeship Programme features a flexible, paid summer apprenticeship at a host PWM institution. The Programme aims to provide university students with front-to-back training and hands-on experience in the private wealth management business. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to learn about different investment products, client services, operations, marketing, compliance, and risk management etc. The experience gained through the Programme will provide students with a solid foundation for a career in the private wealth management industry.

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Registration starts at 9:30am)
Venue: The Grand Assembly Hall, 4/F North Tower, The Salisbury – YMCA of Hong Kong, 41 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

Target Students

• Full-time undergraduates in their first to third year of study
• Students who possess a valid working visa in Hong Kong

Stipend Allowance

Students will receive a recommended stipend allowance of not less than HK$10,000 per month from their host institution, sponsored in part by the HKMA.
