The seminar will cover an introduction to ETFs, including their characteristics and history, the Asia/Hong Kong ETF landscape, and the roles and responsibilities of an index portfolio manager.

This seminar provides an insightful exploration of agentic AI, focusing on Gemini Apps, API agents, autonomous agents and Comet AI browser. The speaker will cover how these agents work, their applications in banking and finance and the impact to operational efficiency. At the end, the regulations on agentic AI will be discussed.

The offshore Chinese credit markets primarily consist of Chinese dollar, offshore RMB, and euro bond markets. These markets are significant components of the international bond market and represent a key area for capital market services in Hong Kong. In this discussion, we will explore the investment landscape of these markets from an investor’s perspective. Instead of providing a typical overview of historical development, issuance structures, and regulatory policies, we will focus on current market dynamics and prevailing investment themes. Drawing on my experience as a financial practitioner, I will share insights into the key drivers, opportunities, risks, return analysis, and investment strategies within these markets. I also hope that our discussion will shed light on credit strategy analysis, and please note that the relevant analytical framework can be applied to other fixed income markets as well.
