Submission of Manuscripts

Authors can submit their papers to any of the editorial offices (in the US, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan). Authors who have no particular preferences of editorial offices can follow the following guideline: Authors from Taiwan and Japan can send their papers to the National Taiwan University and to Kyoto University editorial office respectively. Authors from North America can submit their papers to the US editorial office while authors from the rest of the world other than Taiwan and Japan can submit their papers to the Hong Kong editorial office.

Manuscripts should be original contributions and must not be submitted anywhere else while being considered for publication in PER. Manuscripts should not exceed 50 pages. There is a non-refundable submission fee of US$100, which is reduced to US$50 for Association members. The check should be made payable to "Hong Kong Economic Association". Membership information can be obtained from Lok Sang Ho, Department of Economics, Lingnan University, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong or from Junsen Zhang, Department of Economics, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, Hong Kong.
