As an alumna of the Global EMBA programme at the City University of Hong Kong, I currently serve as the Chairlady of the EMBA Association and as the President and CEO of Thousand Million Jewelry Manufacturing Limited. In 2024, I was honored to receive the GBA Outstanding Woman and Entrepreneur Award from the Hong Kong SME Association. I viewed the CityUHK Global EMBA programme as a valuable opportunity to enhance my leadership skills and drive innovation in my business, especially during times of global uncertainty.

What truly stood out to me about the programme was its international perspective and practical learning approach. These elements helped me gain a deeper understanding of the global market and explore new business models, which have been essential for maintaining my company’s sustainability. After completing the EMBA programme, I took greater initiative in driving innovations, transforming our business, and leading my team with a more valuable and sustainable mindset. I believe that confidence comes from continuous learning, and the CityUHK Global EMBA equipped me with the tools and knowledge needed to adapt to changes in the traditional jewelry manufacturing industry.

I implemented reforms in both technology and human resources, such as diversifying our production plans across different locations, fostering inclusiveness, and embracing various cultures. This approach has helped build a team characterised by strong trust and a sense of belonging. The EMBA is not just a degree; it is a life-changing journey that transforms you into an excellent leader and individual.
