A student team from the College of Business has emerged as champions in the highly competitive Retail Reimagined Challenge 2024, while also receiving the Best Innovation and Creativity Award and the Most Renew and Improve Team Award. The winning team, named Pubblicisti, showcased their exceptional creativity, analytical skills, and teamwork throughout the competition.

Over a period of three months, more than 240 undergraduates from 12 tertiary institutions embarked on an enriching journey of retail exploration, guided by industry leaders and experienced mentors. The Pubblicisti team focused their efforts on addressing the issue of food waste and its environmental impact, with a primary focus on the company Tam Jai International Co. Ltd.

Moreover, I realised the importance of balancing creativity and practicality in our ideas.”

Loudien Zheng (BBA Global Business) added, "Through this competition, I learnt how to test the feasibility of a project through experimentation, and I believe that the feasibility of our plan was one of the key factors in our success."

Amme Woo (BBA Global Business & Global Operations Management) expressed her gratitude, saying, "The mentors believed in us and helped us arrange the video shoot at one of Tam Jai’s branch restaurants, allowing our ideas to be portrayed realistically."

Michelle Chang and Joyce Ou (both BBA Global Business), and Alvin Lam (BBA Marketing) completed the team.
