As more and more researchers in the College of Business (CB) are engaging in China-related research, the China Business and Economic Development Research Center (CBRC) is calling for proposals to support interdisciplinary collaborations among different business fields on topics related with China business and economic development. These topics broadly include business or industry related research projects with the aim to advance our CB’s influence on China-related research.
Applicants should submit proposals using the form below. The deadline for submission of proposals is 30 June 2015. For proposal guidelines, refer to the start-up grant for new faculty.
Please submit your proposal directly to Prof. Haibin Yang (haibin@cityu.edu.hk), director of CBRC. All proposals will be evaluated by a Selection Committee comprised of CBRC Directors for funding consideration. Successful proposals will receive seed money for staffing, general expenses and travel (if any), totaling up to HK$100,000. Funded projects are expected to be of one year’s duration.
Criteria for Evaluation of Proposals
In addition to academic quality, general interest and relevance to China business and economic development, the following criteria will be used to evaluate proposals:
Eligibility
Faculty members of College of Business, CityU, and in CityU service for at least six months prior to start of the project, and remaining in service for at least one year following project completion.
