The objective of the laboratory is to support research and teaching in the area of experimental economics and experimental finance, broadly defined.

Research Areas Includes:

• Behavioural Decision Making (Framing, Heuristics, Intertemporal Choice, Risk and Uncertainty, Social Preferences)
• Experimental Finance (Asset Pricing, Dark Markets, Information Disclosure, Social Networks, Rational Expectations)
• Game Theory and Mechanism Design (Action Revision, Auctions, Bargaining, Cooperation, Coordination, Provision of Public Goods)
• Policy (Financial Education Intervention, Retirement Planning, and Saving Behaviour)

Experiment activities are conducted in facilities including LAU-7218.
