As the signature Youth Empowerment programme, this non-means-tested university scholarship was launched in 2015, to award students who are the first amongst three generations in their families to attend university in Hong Kong. Meaning, you will be the first-generation university student from your family (i.e. your grandparents and parents do not hold any degree from any university) to study at one of the Hong Kong’s universities. The scholarship grant for each awardee is HK$20,000.

Scholarship for Year 2-4 University Studies

Applicant must be a full-time university student who will continue their Year 2/3/4 full-time bachelor’s study at one of the Hong Kong’s universities in September 2022 and is the first undergraduate amongst three generations in the family.
