LEAD Engineer STEM Tutors Training Scheme 2025「LEAD Engineer STEM 導師培訓計劃2025」

LEAD Engineer STEM Tutors Training Scheme is a STEM Education Trainer incubation programme tailored for undergraduates or postgraduates in engineering, IT, science or education.

The 6 previous phases of LEAD Engineer STEM Tutors Training Scheme were successfully held between 2019 - 2024. Outstanding trainees will be recruited to be a part-time tutors and gain actual working experiences by conducting more than 500 hours face-to-face and online workshops with 5,000+ primary and secondary school students in schools, carnivals and field trips.

In order to sustain the momentum, LEAD Engineer STEM Tutors Training Scheme 2025 will be organized again in July – August 2025. There will be 2 parts in this Scheme:

Part 1: Workshop
Date: 14 July 2025 - 16 July 2025

• STEAM workshop designs
• Classroom management
• Selected STEAM Workshop
• Design Thinking
• Common and Innovative teaching aids, e.g. 4D Frame

Expected Outcome

• Create a STEAM workshop plan
• Handle common STEAM teaching aids
• Familiar with popular STEAM workshops nowadays

Part 2: Practical Sessions
Date: July to August 2025

2 sessions of STEAM workshops in summer

Expected Outcome

• Actual experience in different STEAM workshops
• Feedback from experienced tutors

Certificates will be delivered to Trainees who completed 80% of Part 1 and 100% of Part 2. Outstanding Trainees will be invited to attend interviews and become HKFYG contract part-time tutors with on-the-job training.
