The Incentive Programme for self-solicited internships at HK$500 will be continued in academic year of 2024/25. Eligible students will receive a subsidy of HK$500 for each reported internship endorsed and vetted by the Career and Leadership Center.

Eligibility: 
1. Self-solicited internships must NOT be arranged by College / School / Department, and not entitled to any other university / government grants or public subsidies;
2. Students currently enrolling in the below programmes are NOT eligible to apply for this Incentive Programme:
• Job assignments under Campus Internship Scheme (CIS); and
• ITC STEM Internship Scheme administered by Career and Leadership Centre (CLC); and
• Internships enrolled in credit-bearing courses (those enrolled in 0-credit courses are eligible)
3. The internship should be considered relevant to students’ study major (subject to the endorsement by Business Career Development);
4. Reported internship must take place in Summer term between 1 May 2025 and 31 August 2025
5. The minimum internship duration should be at least 2 consecutive weeks or 75 man-hours
6. There is no restriction on internship location provided that the internship fulfils the relevant eligibility with CB’s endorsement. Virtual internships are also accepted.

Student Registration:

1. Fill in the Application Form [HERE];
   AND
2. Employment Contract OR Offer Letter (with the followings clearly stated): 
        a) Name of hosting company             
        b) Start Date and End Date of the internship period             
        c) Signature and company stamp (required for internship offer letter only)
AND
3. A satisfactory Employer's Evaluation Report OR Verification Letter (e.g. letter of employment from HR or reference letter from supervisor) upon completion of the internship.  Students may choose to use your departmental, course or programme's evaluation report.  If you need a template, you may use one of the attached samples.
