As an important part of our mission, the Department of Management at
the City University of Hong Kong strives to serve the business community,
both locally and internationally.
This collection is part of our ongoing effort to serve the business needs
of Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. It includes a variety of articles
written by the professors in the Department of Management over the last
year or so.
In some of the articles, our professors have highlighted the implications
of scholarly work for business people, managers, and professionals. These
"how to" articles are designed to help you become a better manager.
Other articles apply management theory to practical problems or provide
timely insights on important business issues.
We welcome your comments on these articles and look forward to further
