Self-improvement after the ACCA Business Competition

After joining ACCA Business Competition, I hope to share my experience and provide my fellow majors with some useful information and advice.

To stand out from other teams, at first, students must be innovative. They can consult their professors and ask their friends for feedback to discover creative ideas and ensure the ideas’ feasibility. Second, teamwork is very important when the teams are required to write a proposal and deliver a presentation. It allows every teammate to contribute his or her own strengths to the competition. It is beneficial if teammates come from different departments, as they possess different disciplinary knowledge.

This time, our team spent a lot of time in searching for suitable data and preparing for the presentation. As it takes a lot of effort, staying healthy is really important throughout the course of competition.

I strongly recommend you all enter the ACCA competition since the skills and knowledge gained will enable you to improve yourself. Last but not least, I would like to thank my teammates, all of the professors who helped us and our friendly and helpful coach, Mr William Mak. Without you, our team would have never achieved so much.
