May the Courage Be with You

Our team joined the Qualification Programme (QP) Case Analysis Competition in November 2016.

At that time, we faced a lot of stress of preparing our proposals. We eventually succeeded due to determination and mutual encouragement. The time spent overcoming challenges together played a crucial role in shaping who we are now.

We are grateful to have received dedicated support from the AC Department, professors, teachers and classmates throughout the project. We believe that being open-minded enables one to rapidly discover one’s mistakes and make breakthroughs. Despite some initial disagreement, we learned to listen to advice and debate rationally. Ultimately, we reached the finals and won the Merit Award.

I urge every accounting student to engage in external competitions. They not only allow you to apply the knowledge learned at school, but also enhance your understanding and appreciation of real life. The people you meet and the kindness and support you receive are the most precious gifts to be gained from such a competition. Do not fear and try your best with no regrets. The outcome is always rewarding. You only live your university life once. Why not experience as much as you can? Unleash your potential and seize your opportunities!
