The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau ("FSTB") launched the “GBA Fintech Two-way Internship Scheme for Post-secondary Students” with an aim to enlarge the local Fintech talent pool. It enables post-secondary students who study Fintech Programmes in Hong Kong and in the Mainland cities of the GBA to acquire internship experience in Fintech companies and helps them develop an early interest in pursuing their career in the Fintech field.

Application period: Until 30 November 2023

Internship Period: 2 months, extendable to 6 months

Eligibility:
Full-time students aged 18 or above who are studying in post-secondary institutions offering financial technology-related disciplines in HK or the Mainland cities in the GBA. Applicant’s major, minor or concentration is Fintech relevant, or has studied two or more Fintech-related programmes, s/he could participate in the scheme. Applicants could apply for internship positions in Hong Kong and Mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area as follows:

1. Internship positions in Hong Kong – accept applications from Mainland students studying in HK or Mainland cities in the GBA, who hold a valid entry visa, or

2. Internship positions in Mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area - accept applications from HK Students studying in HK or Mainland cities in the GBA

Internship Allowance:
HK positions: HKD 12,000 (per month)
Mainland cities in GBA positions: RMB 10,500 (per month)
