The 2024 Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge is now open for registration.
What is the Global Trading Challenge?
The challenge is run each year by Bloomberg LP for students at our partner universities.
Teams of 3-5 will compete against top students from around the world to experience firsthand what real-world investing looks and feels like. Teams use the Bloomberg Terminal to define market assumptions, develop a return-generating strategy, and execute trades within a closed network.
It's free to participate for all Bloomberg Partner schools and there is a prize basket including an Apple iPad Pro for each member of the winning team.
How do we register?
Students should form teams of 3-5 persons and nominate a captain.
Registration is completed by the captain through the blue registration button on the challenge homepage.
Its important to note that the captain must have a Bloomberg Terminal Login. So the easiest way is for the Team Captain to create a Bloomberg Terminal login at a campus Terminal, then visit the BCER page and click sign-up, which will launch the web environment. The Trading Challenge registration is clearly marked.

Challenge Begins: October 7th, 2024 09:00 am
Starting Positions: October 11th, 2024 12:00 pm
Challenge Ends: November 15th, 2024 05:00 pm
Winners Announced: November 22nd, 2024
