HKIB - Future Banking Bridging Programme 2025

The Future Banking Bridging Programme organized by The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) and is now open for application. It is an Intensive and interactive banking courses in various forms, including classroom training, case studies, group discussions and presentations.

Programme Highlights:

  • You will be taught by industry practitioners sharing their practical knowledge and skill sets, especially in areas highly sought after by the banking industry.
  • This is a new pathway to gain a quick yet in-depth look into the world of banking.
  • Industry insiders will give a rundown of the hottest topics in banking. Engage in interactive dialogue with bankers and possibly get a chance to visit a bank to experience a day in the life of a banker.
  • First-hand tips will be shared, ranging from the job search to the interview, to help you land a banking position successfully.

Day 1: 4 November 2025 (Tuesday)
Location: Cordis Hong Kong
Session 1:  9:00am – 1:00pm
Session 2:  2:00pm – 4:00pm

Day 2: 18 November 2025 (Tuesday)
Location: Cordis Hong Kong
Session 3:  9:00am – 1:00pm
Session 4*:  2:00pm – 4:00pm

Day 3** One half-day in December 2025
Session 5:  TBC

*Only participants who have FULL attendance in Session 1 to Session 3 can join Session 4.

**Only for the best performing teams with full attendance in Session 1 to Session 4 will be invited to join Session 5.

Application:
Submit a completed Application Form – Future Banking Bridging Programme with copies of the requested supporting documents to the HKIB by email to bridging@hkib.org by 20 October 2025. Late applications will not be considered.

1. In your application, please provide copy of identity proof and the proof of your status as a full-time student, i.e. Copy of HKID card and student ID card; and

2. Give brief responses to five questions in the application form to show your interest in the banking industry.

Successful applicants will receive a confirmation notice from the HKIB at least five working days before the start of the Programme.
