Visual Facilitation Workshop

A practical job skill workshop tailored for all CB students. Visual facilitation is a technique that uses visual elements to enhance communication, collaboration, presentation and mutual understanding during group communication. A skill that is widely used at meetings, group work discussions, competition, presentation, sales pitch, assessment center interview and at our daily work. It involves the use of drawings, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to help participants engage with the content, clarify complex ideas, and foster creativity. It is widely adopted across various industries and roles, particularly in settings that require collaboration, creativity, and effective communication.

Consultants, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Designers, Trainers, Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Event Planners

Training Outline:
- Hands-on practice to overcome common group discussion challenges (e.g. strategizing, team alignment, co-create, prioritize, decision making)
- Easy-to-learn visual communication techniques
- Drawing vs Rapid Sketching
- Use rapid sketching techniques to manage meeting flow, define roles, and prioritize tasks
- Mastering basic sketching principles
- Use layouts and prioritization visuals to guide discussions
- Improve your story telling skills
- Building your first Visual Dictionary
- Tools for business meetings (e.g. roadmap planning tools, meeting flow control tools, co-creation tools, prioritization tools, team reflection tools)
