Career Advising

For students with declared major, you may choose to meet with CB Career Advisor or Departmental Career Advisor. For students without declared major, CB Career Advisors are the 1st-line contact for one-on-one career consultation.

Please complete the Career Advising Appointment Form to book an appointment. A confirmation will be sent to the student along with the Zoom meeting link.

In addition to Career Advisors from College of Business, TPG students are also welcome to book additional career advisory sessions provided by Career and Leadership Centre (CLC).

​Policies and Guidelines

Eligibility

  • Career advising service is available for Undergraduate and Taught postgraduate students from College of Business only.

Preparation for the Consultation

  • Please provide your CV/cover letter, job description or other related documents in a shared folder when booking for an appointment.

  • For mock interview, please provide the job advertisement or requirements.

Cancellation / No Show Policy

  • To maximize the resources, students should cancel their booking in advance by sending their cancellation request to your scheduled Career Advisor directly at your earliest convenience.
  • Students who do not show up and without prior cancellation will be considered as “No Show“, hence will not be eligible for making consultation appointment in the following one month.

  • Students who arrive late for more than 10 minutes will be considered as “No Show”.

Honesty Policy

  • We have high expectation on our students’ honesty and integrity. Students should not attempt to fake your identity to book the consultation sessions for fellow students, or to get around the policy by filling in incorrect information, etc. With any violation of this policy, students are subject to the University Student Code of Conduct.
