Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG)
Upon completion of programme, non-local students can apply to stay in Hong Kong for 12 months without other conditions of stay. Once approved by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, students:
- are free to take up employment in Hong Kong, and
- do not need to seek prior approval from the Hong Kong Immigration Department for any change in employment.

Notes
For IANG application, non-local students are required to provide the Hong Kong Immigration Department with the “Letter of Certification” issued by Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies (SGS) if they have not yet received the official award certificate.
For your reference, the tentative schedule for collecting the official award certificate at SGS is as follows. Please note that the award certificates will be ready for collection ten weeks after the official graduation date of each semester/term.
