Residential Courses
(minimum 4)
The residential course design of the Executive MBA programme prioritises practical learning experiences that align with its focus on business strategy, innovation, leadership, and transformation for senior professionals. Recognising the need for real-world applicability, the residential course emphasises practical elements that move beyond traditional academic frameworks. Instead, students engage in dynamic sessions led by industry practitioners and experts, who share valuable on-the-ground strategies and insights specific to their areas of expertise. This approach equips students with the tools to effectively face challenges and make prompt decisions in their businesses. Additionally, sharing sessions provide opportunities for students to learn industry best practices, fostering a rich environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange that enhances their leadership capabilities and strategic thinking.

Learning Journey
The in-person meeting lasts 5.5 days, typically from Tuesday to Sunday, with full-day sessions running from 10am to 6pm.
Theory
During the residential course, students engage in theoretical discussions led by professors. The main topics are introduced at the beginning, providing essential knowledge. On the final day, professors conclude the course by summarising key insights, encouraging students to reflect on applying these concepts in their professional lives.
Industry Sharing
Students benefit from guest lectures by 8-10 industry experts for each residential course, who share their experiences and insights. These experts cover a range of topics, including the current state of the industry, challenges faced, and anticipated trends. This real-world context enhances theoretical learning, allowing students to engage in discussions and effectively bridging academia and practice.
Company Visits
Students participate in visits to relevant companies or institutions, gaining firsthand exposure to real-world operations. These visits allow them to observe how theoretical concepts are applied in practice. Interacting with business owners or senior executives deepens their understanding of industry dynamics and organisational culture, enhancing their educational experience.
Dinner Talk
The dinner session features a guest speaker who delivers a talk on a relevant topic. Alumni also attend, creating an informal setting that fosters open dialogue and allows students to network and gain valuable perspectives on navigating their future career opportunities.
Networking
Throughout the course, students connect with industry experts, professors, alumni, and learning peers from diverse backgrounds. Networking is integral, facilitating relationship-building that can enhance business value. Engaging with professionals and fellow students encourages knowledge exchange and collaboration, creating a supportive environment that benefits students' future careers and helps them advance to the next level.
