CityU MBA organized a 1-day industry workshop in Singapore for participants to learn from some successful tech companies. Students were arranged to visit the brand new office of Facebook located at Marina One Tower and met with managers from different business areas, including Sales and Mkt, Audience Network, SMB and Gaming. They gained valuable insights through sharing by the management, as well as advice on recruitment and work culture of tech industry. Students also visited Skyscanner, a robustly growing company being acquired by Ctrip.com at 1.4 Billion Pounds. Ms Mairi Fernandez-Ares, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager gave a presentation on its company values and share the philosophy of its success.
