It is established to recognize the very best PhD students in the College of Business who have great performance on teaching tutorials or regular courses. The Award aims to motivate PhD students to strive for their best and excel in teaching so as to prepare themselves to be excellent teachers in their future academic jobs. Each awardee will receive a certificate and HKD 2,000 cash award.
It is established to recognize and reward research excellence and important research achievements. The award is also intended to promote a culture of pursuing high quality research among PhD students in the College of Business. Each awardee will receive a certificate and HKD 5,000 cash award.
It is established to subsidize PhD students to participate in academic conferences to help widen their academic exposure and strengthen their research writing and presentation skills; and to provide necessary support to PhD students for gaining opportunities for academic placement. The maximum value of a grant is HKD 10,000.

It is established for PhD students who have demonstrated great research potential but would like to stay for one more year such that they can be better prepared to pursue academic positions.
PhD students can apply to School of Graduate Studies for conference grants for attending local and overseas conferences. The maximum value of a grant is HKD 10,000.
PhD students can apply for funding support to undertake research related activities outside Hong Kong, which are beneficial and related to their studies. The monthly allowance is HKD 5,000. Normally, the maximum cumulative amount of funding provision during the entire candidature of study is HKD 30,000.
