Industrial Impact

The Centre promotes interdisciplinary research collaboration with strong industry focus (e.g. with Alibaba/Taobao), over a wide number of areas including boosting collaborative activities between the various contributing departments, enhancing research student training, further widespread dissemination of research findings in international academic/professional conferences, and the development of multiple teaching and learning activities. Through such industrial collaborations, new applied research dimensions can be created. For example, streamlined e-business systems, efficient marketing and sales strategies, more cohesive customer segmentation models that are readily applicable and benefit the e-commerce industry are anticipated.
