The Gold of the Azure, painted in 1967, is the work of Catalan artist Joan Miró (1893-1983). His artwork serves as an inspiration throughout this issue, and is also featured on the centre pages. A collection of Miró's work can be viewed at the Fundació Juan Miró in Barcelona.
