Harvard Summer School was this year for the first time one of the destinations in CB’s popular Study Abroad programme, with seven CB students living in an on-campus student residence at the leading US university. Apart from the study, students were free to participate in networking events, athletics activities, and the various cultural activities offered. The experience was very well received as their reflections make clear:

“I wholeheartedly recommend the Study Abroad programme for anyone looking to broaden their academic and personal horizons,” said Caleb Ng Ming-chun. “Bring your A-game from the get-go, keep an open mind, and be ready for an unforgettable journey.”

Cherry Cheuk Yi-lai revelled in the chance to open new horizons: “Don't miss the chance to explore American culture and to discover the beauty of nature in this land of diversity. The Harvard experience will be a treasure trove of memories and lessons that will stay with you throughout your life.”

For Shuki Ho it was the diversity of the people he met which inspired him most. “If you're willing to overcome your hidden barriers, you're bound to have a profoundly transformative experience here at Harvard.”

With such enthusiastic student feedback, the College is clearly opening up exciting new learning opportunities for our students.

CB Study Abroad programmes provide students with valuable opportunities to live and study overseas for credits during the summer break. For more details, please visit: https://www.cb.cityu.edu.hk/exchange/summer.
