Call for Papers

The 2027 ASCI Conference will be jointly hosted by the Department of Decision Analytics and Operations, City University of Hong Kong, and the School of Business Administration, South China University of Technology. The conference will be held in Guangzhou, China, from January 9 to 10, 2027.

Under the theme “Resilient Operations in a Changing World,” the conference will bring together scholars, researchers, students, and industry practitioners to exchange research ideas, practical experience, and managerial insights. We invite submissions that advance the theory and practice of operations management and related disciplines, particularly work that helps organizations anticipate change, adapt to disruption, innovate responsibly, and create lasting value.

Submissions employing analytical, empirical, experimental, behavioral, data-driven, or interdisciplinary approaches are all welcome. Research at different stages of development may be submitted, subject to the submission guidelines.

The CMT submission system is open. The abstract submission deadline is November 15, 2026. Abstracts must be submitted through The 2027 ASCI Conference CMT site. Please review the Abstract Submission page before submitting.
