Sharing Workforce of the Future: Cross-Generational Culture & Innovation
Our DBA learning partner, Mr Rajeev Chib (Cohort 2016), and DBA 2019 graduate, Dr Monica Tang, have shared their insights in CityU DBA research seminar on Workforce of the Future: Cross-Generational Culture & Innovation in a Post-Covid-19 World on 14 July 2020, with over 45 participants joining online amid the Covid-19 situation.
This research seminar was hosted by CityU Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme and jointly organized by CityU DBA community (DBAC), and the Project Management Institute Hong Kong Chapter (PMIHK).
Mr Rajeev Chib, on behalf of DBAC, kicked off the event with an introduction of the organizers and the speakers listed as below, followed by the panel discussions:

Today's workforce is more diverse and cross-generational than ever. Understanding the multi-generational workforce is crucial for managers and professionals to bring success to their projects and organizations. In the panel discussion, each speaker has shared their experience from the respective industry on how to adapt to technology, AI, etc., in the first half of 2020. The panel also shared their views on the talent recruitment, engagement, and retention e.g. the need for digital, data centricity, diversity, leadership, as well as the future of the workplace in the post-covid-19.
All these topics offered insights to the participants and spun off meaningful questions and fruitful discussions on the cross-generational culture and innovation. Drawing to the end of the seminar, Ms Christine Yau, the President of PMIHK, delivered a closing remarks by thanking the audience for their participation and the organizers for their contribution.
