CityU DBA Welcomes New Cohorts and Recognises Outstanding Alumni and Students

CityU DBA 2020 and 2021 Cohorts Welcoming Dinner and Awards Presentation Ceremony took place on 4 December 2021.

Dr Gang Hao, Associate Dean (Executive Education) of College of Business, expressed her warm welcome to the new cohorts. Prof Muammer Ozer, DBA Programme Director, made the opening remarks and introduced the new learning partners in the gathering.

The second part of the event was the award presentation to four devoted learning partners and graduates, Dr Rajeev Chib (2020 Graduate) and Mrs Linda Biek (cohort 2019), who received the CityU DBA Contribution to the Society Awards; Dr David Zhang (2021 Graduate) and Dr Wilson Yeh (2021 Graduate), who received the CityU DBA Research Design Awards, in recognition of their dedication and effort in sharing their DBA research with the business community and the society at large. Also attending this memorable event and celebration were Dr Sidney Leung, DBA Associate Director, Prof Stephen Shum, Associate Dean of College of Business, Prof Yue Ma, Head of Department of Economics & Finance, Prof Keng Leng Siau, Head of Department of Information Systems, Prof Jane Lu, Head of Department of Management, and Dr Yanni Yan, Associate Professor of Department of Marketing.
