CityU DBA Welcomes New Cohort and Recognises Outstanding Alumni and Students

CityU DBA 2024 Cohort Welcoming Dinner and Awards Presentation Ceremony took place on 15 November 2024.

Prof Kalok Chan, Dean of College of Business, expressed his warm welcome to the new cohort. Prof Muammer Ozer, DBA Programme Director, made the opening remarks and introduced the new learning partners in the gathering.

The second part of the event was the awards presentation to four devoted learning partners and graduates: Mr Terence Chau (cohort 2022) received the CityU DBA Contribution to the Society Award; Mr Steve Chuang (cohort 2021) received the CityU DBA Research Design Award; Dr Joel Ma (2020 Graduate) and Dr Jodie Yoo (2022 Graduate) received the Outstanding CityU DBA Alumni Awards, in recognition of their dedication and effort in sharing their DBA research with the business community and the society at large.

Also attending this memorable event and celebration were Prof Stephen Shum, Associate Provost (Quality Assurance & Accountability), Prof Choon Ling Sia and Prof Michael Wong, Associate Deans of College of Business, Prof Sidney Leung, DBA Programme Associate Director, Prof Junbo Wang, Head of Department of Economics and Finance, and Prof Jian Ma, Head of Department of Information Systems.
