Abstract:
Cameron equates responsible leadership with virtuousness (Cameron 2011). Currently, studies in virtuous behavior in organizations are mainly conducted at the individual level. The primary attention is to be good for the sake of being good. This research complements current approaches by conducting the research at the enterprise level and conceives organizational virtuousness in terms of the self-others interaction patterns amongst the stakeholders in an enterprise as the shaping of an enterprise's identity. The paper discusses how best to deploy integrators and differentiators generated under the oneness hypothesis to inform the counseling/coaching process for CEO*s (oneness CEOs) to help them contemplate strategies to create alignment and harmony amongst enterprise governance, enterprise wellbeing, and enterprise sustainability.
