Professor Guo received his BA from Beijing University, MSc from National University of Singapore and
PhD from University of California. He was previously Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences
and Managerial Economics and Department of Marketing at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Professor Guo is a distinguished scholar, and his research interests include economics of psychology,
marketing strategy, industrial organisation, and applied economics. Professor Guo has held a number
of professional roles including Associate Editor for Management Science and Senior Editor for
Production and Operations Management.
