Department of Marketing Executive Mentorship Program 2021

The Department of Marketing hosted a Welcome Ceremony for its Executive Mentorship Program via Zoom on 25 January 2021, with around 100 mentors and mentees attending.

Professor David Li Yanzhi, Head of the Department of Marketing, welcomed all participants, and expressed his gratitude to business partners and alumni who contribute their time and valuable experience to be the mentors.

The event also invited Dr Louis Poon, Vice Chairman (Education) CIMHK and Country Head Hong Kong- Allfunds Hong Kong Limited, one of the mentors of the Executive Mentorship Program, to share his mentoring experience.

Dr Fanny Cheung who is in charge of the Executive Mentorship Program, said, “This program aims to connect students with the industry, and to offer them guidance and support in career planning.”

This year, over 70 BBA Marketing and BBA Global Business students were shortlisted to join the program. 25 senior business executives from various industries act as mentors.

Also attended the ceremony included faculty members Dr Yanni Yan and Dr Vincent Wong.
