At the reception, twenty-two students were honoured with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding performance in business competitions, including the HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competitions, the 18th Citi Cup - Citi Financial Innovation Application Competition, and the HKGCC's Pitch Perfect Programme.

Rafiza MIRZA, major in Accountancy, shared the remarkable journey of her team in the HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competition 2023, while Rachel LAU, major in Global Business, recounted her award-winning experience in the HKGCC Pitch Perfect Programme, where she earned the title of Chamber Student Ambassador.

The Presidents and representatives of the four CB student bodies, namely the CBSLC, Business Proposal and Competition Club, 180 Degrees Consulting CityU Branch, and CityU FinTech Society, delivered presentations, summarising the activities they organised in the year and the encouraging results achieved.

The event concluded with a networking session, allowing all student attendees to interact and exchange ideas with Professor Raymond Wong, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes), the six CB Department Heads, and attending faculty members, fostering a culture of support and collaboration.

This event demonstrated the College's commitment to nurturing future business leaders and fostering a dynamic and supportive environment, inspiring both the awardees and the wider student community to strive for excellence and contribute significantly to the field of business.
