College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award 2025
The College has announced the recipients of the College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award 2025, which aims to recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions of our distinguished alumni to their professions, the University and society.
This year’s recipients are:

Ms Andrea So Hiu-ting, BBA Human Resources Management 2010, is the Director and Chief Executive Officer of HK01, the most influential media company in Hong Kong with millions of dedicated readers across the global Chinese-speaking community. Under her leadership, HK01 has revolutionised the city’s media landscape, transitioning from a news publisher into a multifaceted digital ecosystem that seamlessly integrates breaking news, in-depth investigations, lifestyle content, and tech-driven community initiatives.
A visionary in media innovation, Ms So has driven transformative projects such as 01 Education and 01 Space, empowering youth, fostering community engagement, and amplifying underrepresented voices. By seamlessly integrating digital strategy with social impact, she has positioned HK01 as a leader not only in media but also in the internet industry.
Recognised for her visionary leadership, Ms So is committed to leveraging media as a tool for positive change. Her work exemplifies how business acumen and purpose-driven innovation can shape a more informed, connected, and inclusive Hong Kong.
Ms So holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Human Resources Management from the City University of Hong Kong.

Dr Bobby Liu Kam-hing, MH, EMBA 2012, DBA 2019, is the Co-founder and CEO of Milton Holdings International Ltd. He is President Honoris Causa of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council.
Dr Liu is incredibly passionate and is an active member of numerous associations that foster society and youth development. He is the Chairman of the Eastern District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee (2023–2025), and Vice-Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra.
He is also a dedicated mentor and advisor for undergraduate students at different universities, sharing his experiences in the industry with them. Additionally, he dedicated time to serve as a core committee member in several community organisations and has been elected as the President of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (2019/2020), thus played an important role to promote Hong Kong’s industry development. He was 2009 awardee of Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong, 2015 Certificate of Commendation by Secretary for Home Affairs, 2018 awardee of HKSAR Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service and 2023 awardee of HKSAR for Medal of Honour.
Dr Liu holds an EMBA and a DBA from the City University of Hong Kong.
