Biography

Minkyu Shin is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the City University of Hong Kong. He joined the City University of Hong Kong in Fall 2021. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Yale School of Management in 2021, after completing his Master of Science in Marketing in 2016 and his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014, both from Seoul National University, Korea. His current research focuses on the gig economy and the interaction between humans and AI.

He is presently seeking students who are interested in Empirical IO and/or Reinforcement Learning, as well as those with the ability to design and run online lab experiments.
