Biography
Biao Cai is an Assistant Professor of Management Sciences at the College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. His main research interests lie in the area of statistical machine learning with complex data structure, including point process models, tensor learning, mediation analysis and so on.
Openings: I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students interested in statistics and optimization. Prospective students with strong mathematical backgrounds are welcome to email me a CV and transcript. Students majoring in mathematics are especially welcome.
