Programme Aims and Objectives
MSc Artificial Intelligence in Business (AIB) aims to train future business talents who understand AI and cherish AI. We expect the graduates to face the challenge in the business world, and be proactive to 1) apply AI and improve business efficiency; 2) manage AI and lead business success; and 3) innovate AI for the best of society and business. We expect they can connect cutting-edge technology with the core domains of business in Hong Kong and work toward the renaissance of Hong Kong.
MScAIB is offered to applicants with intermediate IT/IS or business knowledge (such as completion of fundamental related courses at the undergraduate level or with certain working experience) and aims to complement each student’s skills to a complete set to develop an AI-business mindset. By doing so, graduates can not only excel in careers in technical or managerial positions in the current business world but also bring change and energize the future business landscape.
MScAIB aims to train students who can not only lead business success but also have a vision of the co-evolution of humanity and technology and support social welfare and fairness in AI-empowered businesses.

#Combined mode: Local students taking programmes in combined mode can attend full-time (12-18 credit units per semester) or part-time (no more than 11 credit units per semester) study in different semesters without seeking approval from the University. For non-local students, they will be admitted to these programmes for either full-time or part-time studies. Non-local students must maintain the required credit load for their full-time or part-time studies and any changes will require approval from the University.
