MGT One-Day Exploration Tour to Lamma Island

On January 17, 2026, postgraduate students and professors from the Department of Management embarked on a one-day trip to Lamma Island, designed to combine experiential learning, cultural immersion, and community building.

The journey began with a ferry ride to Sok Kwu Wan, where participants enjoyed the coastal scenery before setting off on a hike across the island. The route included visits to the Wind Solar Power Station, Lookout Pavilion, Lo So Shing Beach, and Hung Shing Yeh Beach, offering insights into sustainable practices and environmental conservation.

The day concluded with a cultural walk along Yung Shue Wan Main Street, where students and professors explored local traditions and strengthened their connections in a relaxed atmosphere. This activity not only fostered closer bonds within the postgraduate community but also enhanced participants’ sense of belonging to Hong Kong, particularly for those from overseas or mainland backgrounds.

Through this trip, the department continues to support holistic learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom, enriching both academic and personal growth.
