VQAS Cohort 2 Empowered by Inspiring Leadership and Alumni Insights

Last Saturday was a fantastic day for the VQAS Cohort 2 members as they dove into the exciting activities of Module Two!

The highlight? A heartfelt sharing session led by Catherine Tong, the inspiring CEO of Hands On.

“When running a charity, having a ‘can-do’ spirit is absolutely critical to furthering your mission and maintaining momentum. When resources are scarce and needs are great, you quickly learn how to empower and motivate others, make people-centred decisions, and lead with both empathy and authority. I’m excited to see today’s management students embrace these principles as they embark on their own career journey!”

The atmosphere was buzzing with camaraderie as our amazing alumni H Ni Nee and others from cohort 1: Audrey Lai, Evelyn Zeng, and Timothy Li, came to share their experiences and insights with the new cohort.

Dr. L. Irene Lau was the perfect moderator, guiding the conversation with warmth and enthusiasm.

It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and connection!
