The Joseph Lau Non-Local Internship Awards (劉鑾雄境外實習獎) provide support to full-time local undergraduates with financial needs to participate in non-local (Mainland or Overseas) internship programs. This round of application is open for Winter 2025/26 internship participants.

The purpose of the Awards is to help students:

  • Improve interpersonal and communication skills in real work environments; and
  • Enhance student competitiveness and employability in the global job market.
The Awards shall be offered to full-time local undergraduate students who have met the following criteria: 
  • Have attained a cGPA of 2.0 or above as at the last Semester B;
  • Have possessed promising attributes such as leadership potential, aspiration for advancement, etc.;
  • Have been officially offered a non-local internship;
  • Have proven financial difficulties; and
  • Any other eligibility requirements as specified on the guideline.
The Award is claimed on reimbursement basis and is used mainly to cover airfare, accommodation and fees associated with the non-local internships. For the details of the Awards including eligibility, application and reimbursement procedure, please refer to the guideline for full details.
