The Incentive Programme for self-solicited internships at HK$500 will be continued in academic year of 2025/26. Eligible students will receive a subsidy of HK$500 for each reported internship endorsed and vetted by the Career and Leadership Center.

Eligibility: 
1. Self-solicited internships must NOT be arranged by College / School / Department, and not entitled to any other university / government grants or public subsidies;
2. Students currently enrolling in the below programmes are NOT eligible to apply for this Incentive Programme:
• Job assignments under Campus Internship Scheme (CIS); and
• ITC STEM Internship Scheme administered by Career and Leadership Centre (CLC); and
• Internships enrolled in credit-bearing courses (those enrolled in 0-credit courses are eligible)
3. The internship should be considered relevant to students’ study major (subject to the endorsement by Career and Student Enrichment);
4. Reported internship must take place in Sem A/B between 1 Sep 2025 and 30 April 2026 (must be completed by 30 Apr 2026);
5. The minimum internship duration should be at least 2 consecutive weeks or 80 man-hours;
6. There is no restriction on internship location provided that the internship fulfils the relevant eligibility with CB’s endorsement. Virtual internships are also accepted.
