CB @ CityU Discovery Festival

The 2014 CityU Discovery Festival, hosted by the Office of the Provost, will take place from 24th February to 14th March. It aims to exhibit CityU’s strengths and achievements in discovery and innovation, and the centrepiece of its newly implemented Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC).  An opening ceremony will be held on 3rd March on Podium floor at AC 1 officiated by Prof Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, Secretary for Transport and Housing of HKSAR Government, and Prof Way Kuo, President of CityU.

The festival will offer a series of events, including exhibitions & fairs, competitions, student performances, talks, and information sharing sessions to students; the events will help students in academic planning and majors & minors selection.

The College of Business is a member of the organising committee; Mr Alex Tham, Assistant Dean of CB (Admissions and Promotion for Undergraduate) will provide useful and informative references to all Year 1 students in choosing their majors and minors in his upcoming university-organized talks Choosing a Major You Want and Super Charging Your Career with Minors and Double Majors.

In addition to the two talks offered at the university level, the College will offer a programme exhibition, major and minor talks, student sharing sessions, and high tea sessions from 11th – 14th March on campus.  All these activities are supported and co-hosted by CB Departments.
